When we recycle end-of-life products, like say electronics, the reused commodity materials in manufacturing are less expensive. This allows for more dollars to be allocated to workers at manufacturing facilities.

Manufacturers saving these extra dollars can consider not only staying, but relocating their plants back in America.

Protect and expand local and global competitiveness

Lower material costs causes more manufacturers to stay here, more to move here, and more to start up everywhere. This leads to more and more competition in more niches of every industry.

Having more competition leads to more efficiency and more inventions. This also leads to better, smaller products which consist of less raw materials being used altogether.

Reduce need for landfill and incineration techniques

Another benefit of recycling is a decreased need to throw our no longer useful products into the garbage can to be dumped into a landfill. Most everything can instead be reused for its materials.

It also decreases the necessity of having to incinerate the garbage to turn it into ash which takes up less space in landfills. This also equates to less CO2 pollution!

Conserve multiple natural resources

As discussed on our recycling benefits page, the more we recycle, the less we have to mine for virgin raw materials.

This goes for every type of product we use except consumables. Therefore, the more products we recycle, less of the same raw materials they contain, need to be mined for and refined.

Sustain and replenish the environment for future generations

Since we can mine for less virgin raw material, the Earth can not only sustain itself, but over time it can also replenish everything we've taken from it.
